OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Patient scheduling
• Phones
• Booking new patients
• Collecting copays
• Checking patients in and out
• Updating Electronic Health Records
• Managing patient records
• Checking insurance benefits
• Billing and general accounting
• Help with billing inquiries
• Scanning/Faxing
• Assist the Director of Operations, as needed
• Assist the Practice Development Consultant, as needed
• Assist the Patient Account Specialist, as needed

Primary responsibility is to ensure patients are experiencing optimal care and the business operates efficiently with minimal interruption to the doctors’ daily schedule. Must maintain capacity to remain calm and friendly to patients since office will have people coming in pain which can cause stress.
